Any canadian nursing experiences to share?
Hi All
I am relatively new to the forum.I am heading out to Calgary in Jan 07 as principle applicant. I am hoping to make contact with other nurses who are in Canada to share their experiences of nursing in comparison to the UK.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

Hi
I have been in Calgary for 6 weeks, working 4 of those at the Foothills hospital. I am not based on a unit though, I am working for the University of Calgary as a Rheumatologly Nurse running their biologics program.
It is a completely new post so I am still sort of in mid air as such, but it is very interesting work.
Get in contact if there is anything I can do for you. I have a friend here who works with me, but she works for the health region, so she could probably answer more questions for you.
