I had a problem with mine due to work, got a steriod injection and a month later after gaving up work all fixed

had no time to visit the physio during that time (past 3 months - sick & moving flats etc) But when I saw her yesterday, she said your body is designed to heal itself as time goes by. and it certainly better than before, but soreness don't go away. well, she said don't worry so I won't worry.
It must be painful for you that steroid injection,,, - its awful I know. hope you are ok now. and take care.

was very worried steroid injection has hubby had had one in his big toe and really hurt him but mine was fine.
I was like you couldn't hold things, do up buttons etc. I did have to wear a strap after the injection to remind me that thumb needed rest and the strap just prevented me doing things that wouldn't let it rest and heal.
