Definitely no I'm afraid. I'm not aware of any plans to launch DAB in NZ

For DAB definitely not. No DAB in NZ
But for ordinary AM/FM no problems

Even then, it's quite likely that NZ will use a different standard to the UK (as a later adopter, NZ is likely to use a newer digital radio standard for higher-quality audio).
So probably best to sell your UK radio before coming over, and get an old-fashioned FM one here.
Don't worry, though, you can still listen to UK radio online if you want....

I've got a Roberts Radio WM202 http://www.robertsradio.co.uk/Produc..._202/index.htm which is a combined FM, DAB & Internet Radio player.
Here in in middle of Auckland I found nine DAB stations -
Base FM - Music see http://basefm.co.nz/base09/
BBC World Service - News, current affairs, etc.
RNZ Concert - Classical Music
Concert Plus - not broadcasting?
EasyMix - not broadcasting?
George FM - Music see http://www.georgefm.co.nz/
MAI FM - Music see http://www.maifm.co.nz/
RNZ National - News, current affairs, etc
Tarana - Asian Music see http://www.tarana.co.nz/
As the WM202 supports Internet Radio via a ethernet cable or a wifi connection then I'll probably spend my time listening this way.... or via FM

It's amusing to see the pre set stations ie Heart; Pulse; Radio 2; talk sport; etc.
Can't get any of them, obviously but was able to re-tune about 6 stations- only fancied two.
In the end reception was a bit hit and miss so brought out the cheapie analogue+ CD and tape deck! £19 at Asda. Sounds superb! I kid you not.
Keep looking for one of those retros that play 78/45/33 Vinyls, + tape decks + CDS+ radio. Know they exist -- but WHERE?
