Hi All

Had to share our news with someone so what better than all of you are looking to do the same as us and move to NZ.

My OH got a job offer yesterday to start in September 2010 - we have already submitted our EOI so do you think this is realistic?

From what I've read it's not impossible, as your application, once selected, will be prioritised. Cutting it a bit fine though IMO unless everything else is straightforward. My suggestion would be to make sure INZ are aware of the offer start date and/or consider getting a temporary work visa while the PR application is processed.

As long as there are no difficulties with medicals it should be fine. We got ours really quickly within 4 weeks of lodging our ITA

great news all goes smoothly with EOI. Having the job offer should help things along & if no problems with the medicals you should be good to go. Going to be a tight schedule though

You could try contacting immigration and let them know you've had an offer, perhaps it will speed things up a bit?

I was due to do my PGCE to become a primary school teacher in September this year as a local University, so am hoping to study at the University of Auckland for my teacher training. I may work for a year though - I was previously a HR Manager.
