Hi All,

While passing the Travel Agents window, on a notice board......... 21 nights to NZ Flights and Camper hire all in for £899 in May 2010.

uummmmmmmmm. decisions, decisions. our ITA was submitted beginning of October. As like many others, we are still awaiting the progress status to change from Pending.

Do we try and pencil in another trip down under for another fact finding Holiday or wait till we hear if we are sucessful or not 1st.

head starting to Hurt already.

already stated to check possible flights and prices.
Can't believe it's passed 6months since we were down there last. Time certainly goes by quickly, either that am getting OLD quicker

Anyhow, to all fellow followers of our threads,

Nadolig llawen o'r Gymru / Merry Christmas from Wales.

p.s. Blo*dy Freezing up here at mo, bit of the White Stuff this morning, more up in Snowdonia, good excuse to go out in the Landrover, wrapped up taking Photos.

Ian.

Hi All,

Managed to find a suitable pic from Saturdays trip out to West Shore Llandudno. (North Wales Coast)

This is a rare SNOW covered beach.

Now compare that with the Beach in Nelson. I know which one I'd rather walk along.............

Hi

Nelson is one of the areas, but not got heart settled on any one place. will go where the work is.

liked New Plymouth area too. Stress levels were a bit HIGH when driving the motorhome around Auckland, but thats another story.

My OH was staying in Glenfield (an auckland suburb) for a little over 2 weeks in May this year when he went to try and find a job - from his visit he decided that there was no way we were living near there.

He didnt like how busy it was and the mishmash of houses all over the place and the amount of traffic, he said was as bad as here.

We visited the family members who he stayed with alot while we were there 3 years ago but they lived in Devonport at the time and it was the christmas holidays - and i remember thinking - traffic problem - what traffic problem - the Other half found the traffic problem in May

We werent sorry that we were offered a job in Hamilton - even if the goalposts have just been shifted somewhat!!!

I hope you find yourself in a place you would happily call home and not just be somewhere you 'end up' x but being bendy is a big help when looking for a job x

Hiya,

As long as we can find work for both of us, able to get a property with some land, no neighbours that are tooooo close so I can put up a BIG Aerial, otherwise pretty "Bendy"

Its the Waiting period now. 2 1/2 months gone already. wonder if it will go the full 4months before we hear anything from a C/O.

Keeping an eye of the employment front, keeping a few contacts "in the picture" but as you know, they wont be interested until we are down there.

so mean time keep checking NZIS website for any news, and pencilling in next years holidays and counting the pennies to see if we can head down under for a 3 week stay.
