We've got our citizenship!!
So after being here a couple of months shy of 6 years we are now officially kiwis. It only took 2 months from start to finish and I'd highly recommend using the new process of making an appointment with a case officer - it really seemed to speed it up. Happy tree planting. We have kept one of our trees in a tub in case we move house. We can take it with us then.

Auckland Council must be a bit stingy - no tree for us...just a bit of one in the form of a certificate!

then again i do live in the dreadful Wanganui, hopefully not for long though

The appointment thing must be new, it wasn't available when I applied last year. I didn't get a tree either, must be because of the Supercity
