Wasn't it great watching the protestors in Wellington getting dealt to by the police today 🤣
I Think it was the most entertaining NZ program I've seen in a long long time

Thank you for alerting us. I have just been watching some coverage on YouTube videos. The "protesters" look like the sort of anarchists that used to camp outside Greenham Common.
Apparently the protesters can't distinguish between "protesting" and trying to hold the government hostage. Just like in Canada, they appear to be a tiny, tiny percentage of the population.

I'm looking forward to seeing future protests being removed by riot police now we have a precedent.

Whose bright idea was it to think that they should bring their cars, and pitch tents, and think that they can just hangout for an indefinite period, blocking traffic, inconveniencing other people, and quite frankly, creating a health hazard in the city center. This (also Ottawa, Canada) most certainly was not a run-of-the-mill protest!

So not cool, on so many levels, especially the blokes on film encouraging women and children to be upfront to 'protect' them from the police. And oh the irony of the Police disrespecting their stuff. LOL
Sadly now some poor folks will have to deal with the aftermath; the shortage of tinfoil and the further spread of COVID to other communities as they head out of their cess pit and back to their villages after spending 22 days yelling at a brick wall and living in a COVID infested rabbit hole.

Yeah, sure it ended badly, but was also badly managed by the authorities from the start, with gas lighting from the PM. Mallard forbidding MPs to meet with protesters, and turning the sprinklers on.
There were valid arguments against vaccine mandates, you can’t simply prevent protests if we don’t like them.
