Congrats! It's a great feeling ay? Our residency visas came through, but my partner kept it a secret and handed me the approval letter on Christmas day all wrapped up with a lovely bottle of Pinot Noir. Best Christmas ever :wubs:

Yay awesome news my visa approval came through the same day as the England vs NZ cricket match in Wellington, so I celebrated my new status by cheering on the Kiwis like the traitor I am

Wow! Didn't realise you hadn't got residency until now! We got ours late last year and it felt like a massive weight was lifted off my shoulders....now if my job could just be made permanent I'd sleep better at night too.
