Hi guys,
I am new too,
My husband and I are leaving damp Bristol to live on the north shore, on jan 2.
We can not wait, it's been a very emotional time for both of us over the last few months, I can now understand why some people don't go though with the whole move thing, far to stressful. Anyway we are looking to make new friends and start a new life Down Under, we enjoy drinking, walking, I hove horse riding and my hubby loves mountain biking. So if any of you are interested in the same things we would love to get in touch.
I hope everyone on here a safe trip and a happy new life.

to BE & our NZ forums in particular. Hope you are bringing your waincoats as the North Shore's rather damp too, right now! Sure it'll be warmer than Bristol though 
Just want to wish you a good & safe flight & hope you settle into life on the NS quickly. We are a little further north than you on the Hibiscus Coast. Shakespear Regional Park at the end of the Whangaparaoa Peninsula has some scenic walks & a great beach to swim from.

Oh no I hope it stops raining when we get there, we want to live up near where you are as my hubby got a job in silverdale. We are waning to rent. So that's what we will be doing first, looking at rentals. All fun I hope.

Hi,
We arrive on Janurary 23rd in Auckland on Silver Fern visas, so hope to amek the move permanent! But think we need to be in the country to get interviews. We are trying to find accomodation on a temporary basis in Auckland until we find our feet but are finding it is either unavailable or out of our price range!

Hi, yes arrived safely last Thursday, settling in well thanks, although very hectic! Finally managed to get on internet today, so hopefully will be able to come on here from now on. Hope everyone else is settling well too x

we arrived, just getting over jet lag. Been in hotel for last couple of nights and head off to Pukerua Bay and the rental tomorrow morning.
