UK to NZ January 2012
Thought I would get this going in time for the New Year.
So I need the date you're leaving the UK (or elsewhere) & the date you are arriving in NZ & where you are planning to live in NZ.
Thanks

Re: UK to NZ January 2012
Hi all, we leave heathrow on 3rd Jan and arrive in Christchurch, where we'll be based, on 5th Jan. It's myself, hubby who's job it is we're going out for (he's a geologist going to be working on rebuild), our 3 year old daughter, 1 year old son, and we have another one due beginning of April. Exciting move but I am beginning to feel the stress! There are not enough hours in the day!
Would love to hear from others based in Christchurch.

Hey, myself and my Husband arrive in NZ on 13th Jan and at the moment have no accomodation - if anyone knows of any fully furnished apartments that would be great?

Leaving 8th January arrive Wellington 10th January. Staying at the Musuem hotel for a couple of nights (pressie from MIL) before we pop up to Pukerua Bay and the rental.
Still waiting for PR approval hopefully we get it before the kids are eligible to start school in February.
Meeting some people off here in Wellington week after we land so if anyone else is going to be in Wellington or surrounding area check out the meet thread.

Re: UK to NZ January 2012
Hi guys,
I am new too,
My husband and I are leaving damp Bristol to live on the north shore, on jan 2.
We can not wait, it's been a very emotional time for both of us over the last few months, I can now understand why some people don't go though with the whole move thing, far to stressful. Anyway we are looking to make new friends and start a new life Down Under, we enjoy drinking, walking, I hove horse riding and my hubby loves mountain biking. So if any of you are interested in the same things we would love to get in touch.
I hope everyone on here a safe trip and a happy new life.
I will look forward to hearing from you.
