Titahi Bay & Whitireia Park - pics from today
OK so today we spent the afternoon in Titahi Bay climbing over rocks and hunting in tidal pools (shame it was high tide ) for goodies. Our time there included a good old climb at Whitireia Park too. Well worth a visit!
Anyway... here are the pics.
Ooh Mana Island is purdy!
Lauren with her tidal pool stuff
Phil & Lauren at Titahi Bay
Me & Lauren at Titahi Bay
And again

Phil at Titahi Bay
Lauren looking through a hole in the rock that she had climbed through
The view from Whitireia Park headland Sorry for the 2 photos together
We found some almost-completely-intact paua shells. This was the best one

Lastly, a little bit on rock formations...
Look at that great wiggly line going out into the sea!
I took these three together, just panned to the right. Look at how amazing the strata are in the rock formations!

Yes they are, well done Maz,
BTW the camera you use (Digital Rebel) has the good Canon Photostich software bundled with it that can be used to make those overlapping shots into panoramas.....see:

and:

for info - I use it home and for work and its pretty good, but not great in all instances (as some of my work is needed in Court!).

the Canon viewing/archiving software (ZoomBrowser EX) is OK to but can be done better/faster by other s/ware, but photostich is pretty good though - we used to use it on a semi-pro basis at work (clients paid for the reports so its kinda semi-pro).
