still no job, home or even a bank account but our house in the UK is sold. Mobile home might just be the solution.
Can I ask what company you used for your dogs and the cost pls. We have been quoted bout £3,500 to move one dog.
Thanks
Kaz

we used Whitehouse kennels in WSM both times for a border collie x 3k including vets fees and boarding for 2 weeks is about right!
We flew out and kept our mutt in uk for 2 weeks until we got ourselves sorted, our dog is now 9 and slightly arthritc but we had no problems just hungry when he arrived and us tired from the early morning collection to pick him up!

Not cheap that's for sure. See our avatar ugly mutt - bless her, she's now spending her 6th happy year with an adoptive family in Birmingham (far more cost effective) - be aware that finding a rental that will accommodate a dog is rather challenging as is walking a dog on a beach for half the year.

Probably a bit slow out the blocks to reply ...
But can't recommend Golden Arrow enough.
They looked after our Doberman bitch for us and helped us all along the way with all the tests paperwork etc made it foolproof.
She stayed in lovely country manor surroundings for a few days while we flew over then they sent her over in a lovely custom made kennel (Which is now my sister in laws chicken house).
The customs people at Christchurch Airport were lovely as well let my missus open the cage to let Tia (The Doberman) out
Regards
Phil

PS sorry for using the word lovely so much !!!
