Can anyone tell me about their experiences of shipping companies? We are moving to New Zealand in September 2008 and the company we used last time we were living in New Zealand has gone into liquidation Thanks very much

We used pss, They were good all boxes and packaging got here o.k and the lads were great. This end they use nz van lines who we have found to be great and very helpful.

We used Allied Pickfords as they are here in NZ as well. Smooth transaction from UK to NZ - no probs and got here earlier than expected.

Think ours was the Removal Group. 3,150 GBP for 20' container. all arrived safe in 6 weeks. Insurance was separate through Letton Percival. We did get charge $485 for MAF inspection this end, so don't forget to make an allowance in your budget just in case MAF want to inspect anything in your container.

Thanks to all those who took the time to reply. Longest day in the UK, it's raining again! Can't wait to get back. We've been back in the UK for just over two years and are really feeling the need to be back in NZ asap!
