Question Sending flowers to Papanui

Hey guys, I wonder if someone can help please. My brother and sister in law have just moved over to Papanui (new expats from the uk) this week. They're currently staying a holiday park in Papanui while they get sorted out.

What I'd like to do is to send some flowers, some beer and chocolates for the kids but being stuck in Auckland () I'm not sure the best way of doing it?

I checked interflora.co.nz but they seem awfully expensive. Can you phone florists over here and ask them to deliver like the uk (that was how I kept costs down in the uk).

Is this the best strategy or is there a kiwi secret like 'the kiwis don't use ebay :curse:' I'm not aware of?

Many thanks Preet

Hi Preet,

You could get the stuff yourself and then get it couried to them.

Not sure if its cheaper though.

Dirk

PS Kiwi's have www.trademe.co.nz not as good as ebay.

I'm sure any decent local florist would deliver flowers, I've had them delivered to my wife by the local one here when I was away overseas. Not sure about food and booze, although Foodtown/Woolworths do grocery deliveries so you could try them
