LOL I can relate to this, after having found a massive cockroach had taken up residence in my cutlery drawer, I wouldn't have been surprised if someone had called the police.

I'm getting braver with cockroaches & spiders but I hate those black NZ crickets and cicadas freak me out a bit too 
I think it's the unpredictability of their movements that does it.
