Hi Everyone,

I was wondering about schools in hamilton area we are due to move out there
in next couple of weeks. I have to kids aged 11yrs (boy & girl) and have already completed year six here so would they have to redo part of the school year as the terms run from february.

Hi Jan,
when we moved here last October, Melissa went to Glenview Primary School. She turned 11 in November and has been at Melville Intermediate School this year. The Intermediate schools cover years 7 & 8.
That doesn't really answer your question but try:

and they might be able to offer more concrete advice.
The Intermediate school doesn't have a particularly high decile rating as I recall but Melissa has done well in school here in Hamilton so we have no concerns.
