Default Rotorua Coffee Time

Hello NZ,

I will be making my make first trip to NZ from 14 July 2012 for a peek around the Bay of Plenty area, partner has been before.

VISA sorted and we are now ready to roll.

While the boss is busy, I'll be looking round the BoP area in a car, for relaxation, sightseeing and possible locations to buy a house later in the year when we arrive to live.

I wondered if anyone was available/keen for a coffee in the Rotorua area during Monday 16 July 2012 - Friday 20 July 2012. I'll have a number of questions in exchange for the coffee

First questions:
a. Where is the best place to get a coffee in Rotorua?
b. Anyone a suggestion on good routes around the BoP area?
c. Are there any areas to avoid?
d. Are there any maps with detail covering the BoP area available?

Many thanks.

I could possibly be available for coffee in Rotorua that week, depends a bit on work commitments though I'm afraid. Best place for coffee? Lots of choice & the answer is always going to be subjective. I think I'd suggest Third Place, or Lime for a day time coffee. Abracadabra in the evening.
I hope you enjoy your trip through BoP & Rotorua.
Must dash now I'm sorry, but keep in touch, if I'm able to help at all while you're over here I'll be happy to do so.

Sigh..I don't miss much about Rotorua but I do miss the coffee and breakfast from Third Place and the spicy prawns and crispy chick peas from Abracadabra...drool.

...back to topic!
