Did anyone go to Record Store Day on Saturday? Lots of special releases for it, stores were very busy.

Vinyl is back in. People are realising that its a unique experience to play an album from start to finish on a turntable.

Also there was the FreeHouse record fair which happened at a few fun places , a yurt for one, but I haven't seen anything for this year .
Track down Grant Smithies. Could well still be at the Freehouse Beer Garden in Collingwood street. He was the organiser after Everyman closed down.
Yup . Vinyl seems to be enjoying a renaissance. We still have all ours + a deck.

The Vinyl Lovers of New Zealand facebook page is also great, lists all the up coming fairs and is a great community.
Nothing over at Blenheim apart from OP shops, SPCA op shop is the best! lol
