BTW, how are Southern Cross doing these days? five years ago they had a backlog of 14 (yes, fourteen!) months for some of their reimbursements.

I do know that when i had my BR in CH CH another girl was getting hers done on Southern Cross and she had to pay a percentage of the o and southern cross paid the rest....
Did you mean that southern cross delay paying the hospital concerned?

Not at the mo, but I used to live there. I left NZ nearly four years ago, for Canada.
Er... I think I might've generated quite a bit of a misunderstanding here: I was talking about reimbursements. Five years ago, they had a huge backlog, of 14 months in some cases. I presume (as I never went to a hospital in NZ) they deal with hospitals directly re. payments and stuff, method that doesn't imply a reimbursement (i.e. you don't have to pay the hospital yourself and then ask SC to reimburse you).

I presume (as I never went to a hospital in NZ) they deal with hospitals directly re. payments and stuff, method that doesn't imply a reimbursement (i.e. you don't have to pay the hospital yourself and then ask SC to reimburse you).
