Hi
Just because I am a superhelpful little miss know it all princess today:
Public Transport on Friday (Anzac Day) in Wellington is operating to a Sunday timetable all day. I saws it on the poster on the train on the way home yesterday.

Shops have to stay closed until 1pm, so you should be good for shopping in the arvo.
