Hi there,

Im applying for my work visa at the mo, I've got all the info and getting my medical results Thursday but on the application form one of the q's is

"Does your work experience relate to your job offer? If so attach evidence"

I wanted to know how to prove my work experience - my employer has advised I attach a CV with referee details on there so that Immigration can contact them if they want to, and Immigration advises me that I can attach the references themselves - my referees have sent me copies that they sent to my employer so I could just print those out and attach them - but is there anything else anyone else has used to 'prove' their work experience???

I attached my C.V to my work visa application and also included the job description. You will need this, as well as proof that the job has been advertised in NZ and Kiwis were given a fair chance to get the job. I dont know what the criteria is if you are on the skilled list.

I didnt include the advert for the role or evidence people had been interviewed and they sent my application back. It sailed through when I included that.

I've just gone through this and got my visa just a week ago. PM me if you have any other questions.

On chatting to immigration myself the other day, they said to supply a reference from my employer, stating the position, the dates, and that it was full time. Said that would do just fine.
