We have the packers in on Thurs/Fri/Mon. I have already broken TWO shredders trying to ditch stuff and been to the charity shop more times than I can remember I'm sure I don't have quite that much 'stuff'.

We have already de-cluttered once and we are doing it again while packing our suitcases, how much stuff can one family accumulate?!
The house is like a tip and there isnt a single room without a couple of boxes in the corner. Oh the joys of moving overseas!!

Your're right. Our car actually drives itself to the tip now, and the kids are SO fed up of going there. Thank heavens for ebay and charity shops. We're 2 days in, having had packers in Mon and Tues and then they're finishing tomorrow morning. It's all a bit surreal having boxes everywhere that we haven't packed ourselves. Still, just one morning left and then the adventure begins....

Oooh Good Luck !! Our packers arent coming for four weeks, but I agree it's amazing how much you accumulate. But both me and my OH are terrible for saying 'I just might use that again' I think we need to be more ruthless.
I Think the packers are going to have a fit at all that we have bought since we were assessed but after reading posts on here thought better to buy before we arrive.

Just a quick word of warning, our packers are checking off the boxes against the inventory they did at assessment time. We added a few more bits and they were fine when we discussed it on the phone. I suppose it depends on your volume/container size etc.
