Default NZ Army from British Army

Hi everyone

I am thinking of joining the Kiwi Army on a lateral transfer, has anyone on here done this ? If so what was the transfer process like ? Is there a particular trade they look for ?

Do you know if there are any limitations , rank, age etc

Any help/info on this would be gratefully appreciated

Leigh

Check out the search function, there's loads of stuff on here about it. Alternatively go to:

No Leigh, I'm still in Brit Army. (not for long tho) I just remember seeing loads on here. Some people get a bit annoyed on the forums when they are answering the same question 3 or 4 times per year. It's a good search function. I think Arrse has more info on it though for your original question.

Good Luck

Then they should have more patience . This is an information exchange after all.

Having said that, I can't help at all . Sorry.

We don’t even really need that really, I can get annoyed at inanimate objects .

Hi - it's my understanding that the term 'lateral transfer' is meaningless as the NZDF do NOT take transfers. You have to leave the UK Army and apply to join the NZDF. Their website explains it all, click on the "overseas applicants" part. Good luck.
