I predict it will happen after our recce ( would have been nice to have visa already in passport to validate) so fingers crossed this trip on Sunday to NZ isn't a waste of time and money and we find a location we like and a poss. job.

You've already been issued with an ITA? Blimey! What's holding my application up! Tried to phone NZ House this afternoon, but with it being a premium rate number every phone at work is barred from dialling it. With Easter it'll have to wait till Tuesday now!!!!!

Roughly we submitted our EOI June 2006 and it took 3 months to get the ITA. We submitted the ITA in Early December, had a telephone interview a week ago and hope to get the final ok next week. We still dont have a job offer.

makes me thinks i should have definately heard something by now... role on Tuesday i want to phone them and see what's happening...

Thank you Nero, this is encouraging to us It sounds similar timing to us (you're a month or so ahead of us) and hopefully means we'll get that CO and an interview by May!
