I think the point Mandie is making is that she is trying to make her life better.
Mandie, I agree, we love NZ and no it's not perfect, we don't wear rose tinted glasses and we've only been here since January but things have been going really well for us. I think if you come here with realistic expectations you won't go far wrong.

Yes but i feel that i'm gonna makes my life better by coming to nz. I'd rather go and it not be for me than stay in the uk putting up with what i don't like about living in the uk....i think that makes sense!!!
to put it simply 'i don't want any what if's'
my mum and dad had the chance of going to oz when i was younger but my dad pulled out of the move and now they (my mum especially) regrets not going.
you only live once and even if i don't like living there at least i'll be able to say i tried.
