Hi,

We are currently enjoying ourselves in Napier after travelling down from Auckland (through Rotorua). Now almost half way through ou holiday (going far too quickly).

However our main robem is our Digital camera is on its last legs and we urgently ned to replace it. We are off to Wellington tomorrow so if anyone knows any good shop for digital cameras we would love to hear. We are specifically looking for a Casio Exilim EX Z1000. We have access to a laptop until 1st thing tomorrow morning.

Wellington Photographic Supplies - 11-15 Vivian Street - it's where "the pros" go - they say they're open 7 days/week but, of course, this weekend is Labour Weekend, so don't know their opening hours. Their phone is 04 384 3713.

Don't know how specialist your Casio is - from Napier, there are 2 routes you can get to Wellington 1. through the Wairarapa - over the Rimutakas - not much there in terms of shopping or 2. through the Manawatu Gorge and down the Kapiti Coast - in which case, you've got opportunities to stop off at shopping centres - Palmerston North, Porirua or Johnsonville - all of which will have standard photo-shops.
