Default Medical Question

My wife and I are thinking of moving to NZ permanently. We have a 6 year daughter who has congenital scoliosis. She had back surgery when she was 3 years old and will likely require at least one more surgery - probably around 12 years old. Apart from that she's perfectly happy, healthy and active and you wouldn't know from looking at her that she has this condition.

Do you think this will be a problem for a permanent residence application? Has anyone else successfully emigrated to NZ with a child who has scoliosis?

Thanks in advance.

Hi there - sorry, I can't really help you at all, apart from to suggest getting in touch with the NZ immigration folks and asking for their opinion on your situation. Now that your thread has been bumped up by my reply, perhaps someone with more useful advise will be along.

Good luck
