Mechanic salary in Bay of plenty??
Hiya,
We presently live in Auckland, but we will never be able to afford to buy a place so we've been looking around. We seem to be heading for Bay of plenty. Could anybody tell us what sort of salary to expect for a Senior Technician? I currently work for a main dealership.

can't help with bay of plenty or dealership figures, but hubby in chch, working for small family business on outskirts of city, getting $20 per hour. He could get more in town - probably up to $25/hr.

yeah - i don't think there is much in it - the only key thing that affected pay as far as we could see was the wof training - his pay went up once he'd completed and could test.
