Default Me fave news story today...

My favourite story today was the one about fat blokes earning more money than than those afflicted with a smaller size. All my life I've been trying to do the regular running, sporting and salad thingy which has largely left me looking...not anything like Brad Pitt in Fight Club but it turns out I was only hurting my career prospects. This was also observed in the US a few years back.

Now gentlemen there is no excuse for not knocking off early on Friday to get a pint and bacon sandwich down your local.

Which is really interesting because I've read research from the UK suggesting the opposite in some ways. Suggesting men are more caught in social class, have less class mobility and intergenerational income elasticity.

I've truly come to believe a lot of human behaviour in business is actually highly irrational. What's worse however is most participants can't bring themselves to identify behaviour as irrational. Then people then become disgruntled when organisations make choices that are not really in any of the participants interests.

Thank the bloomin Lord now the 100 year Pavlova war with the Aussies is over. Apparently in true playground style, nobody cared anyway.
