Default Looking for a work permit in NZ

Hello people, I'm new to the NZ forum.

I wanted to have some info with regards to work permit in NZ. I am actually a Personnel Officer with 4 years of working experience and i wanted to know if its possible for me to get a work permit with this profession.

Apart from that i wanted to have a skill assessment to know how much points i have as i know i am only short of ten points to qualify for my PR in Australia.

Can someone recommend a good recruitment conusltant to look for jobs in the Human Resources field.

Cheers

Vicky

Hi Vicky

Try looking at www.seek.co.nz and follow the HR Links to see what companies recruit in your field, then contact them direct.

Regards

Simon

Thumbs up Re: Looking for a work permit in NZ

Hi Vicky,
For your work visa, you have to :-
1) Have a job offer
2) The empoyer to fill in a form 1113 to prove they can't find a Kiwi for the job.
3) Send you an employment contract, stating wages.
4) also send a copy of 1113 for you to put with application for work visa.

There may be one or two more things but check the London office web site as they give you a check list to follow, which is very helpful.

I hope this is of use to you.

regards
Stan

if youre under 30 you qualify for a working holiday visa which allows you to live and work in nz for 1 or 2 years, easy to get and no need to have a job offer lined up beforehand
