Been in NZ for 6 mnths now. Spent most of it in the South Island. So beautiful down there! Hard to find work though.

Based in New Plymouth now, looking for employment. Been to a lot of sign companies, door knocking, informal interviews, etc. with no luck so far. Does anyone have a suggestion for a sign writer/sign manufacturer with 25 yrs of experience? Any sign guys (or girls) who've been lucky to land a job?

Any help would be appreciated. Catch 22 scenario - job offer first, then work permit, then PR..... Yeah!

Can I ask what sort of visa you are currently on out of interest.

HHmm. Signwriting. May I ask what you understand about the work visa or skilled migrant process please?

Once we all have a few more details, we can then dig around our own experiences and understanding to maybe help a little.
