Jobs for sign writers?
 

Been in NZ for 6 mnths now. Spent most of it in the South Island. So beautiful down there! Hard to find work though. :(

Based in New Plymouth now, looking for employment. Been to a lot of sign companies, door knocking, informal interviews, etc. with no luck so far. Does anyone have a suggestion for a sign writer/sign manufacturer with 25 yrs of experience? Any sign guys (or girls) who've been lucky to land a job?

Any help would be appreciated. Catch 22 scenario - job offer first, then work permit, then PR..... Yeah! :thumbsup:

Hi and welcome to the site. I hope you enjoy being part of our community. I'm afraid I know nothing about sign writing, but I'm going to move this thread to the main NZ forum for you as the Introductions forum is really for saying hi and not so many people pop in here. Firstly . Hi and welcome to this little NZ forum. Have a good browse around and feel free to ask away.

Can I ask what sort of visa you are currently on out of interest.

HHmm. Signwriting. May I ask what you understand about the work visa or skilled migrant process please?

Once we all have a few more details, we can then dig around our own experiences and understanding to maybe help a little.
