Ideas to rally opposition to new tax rules?

Ideas to rally opposition to new tax rules?
I am seeing my local Labour MP.
I have contacted 2 news papers (neither seem interested).
I am joining Leech and Cos group ins scheme if they decide to set it up. I think the charges are $99 for a single person and $155 for a couple. This will pay for otherwise expensive litigation up to a certain point as and when there is a legal battle..so I understand.
I have complained to my QROP provider and asked them what they have done.
I have put in a submission objecting the thing.
What else can we do?
Some or many of us will have huge bills to pay from what was supposed to be a nest egg for our future.
How bad a taste does this leave in our mouths?

Not really Col TBH . Unless you are also dumped in this boat of course. At 58 this is a really huge deal to me.

Good news on that front for you then. Not sure why have you such a downer on those of us that will be effected by the retrospective aspect of this new taxation proposal. Perhaps best not to read the stuff if it makes you feel tetchy.
For my part, I have no choice. I have to read, understand fully and then make some rather important decisions which will effect my provision for my adage. You just perhaps be glad that you don't walk in my shoes, at my age, when it comes to this.
Or perhaps even wish me well.

Bevs, I have no interest what so ever in other peoples plans for the future.
Things are what they are, fair or not, we all win and lose somewhere but I
have very little tolerance for those who ram their crap endlessly down others throats.
There are people out there who literally have nothing, I'm more concerned for them than
some whinging greedy ex cop
Will I have a big pile when I retire...No
Do I need a big pile when I retire...No
Am I worried about it...No

The IRD currently owe me about $7K and we are having a barney about it.
So if you want to go and egg their building. I will be shoulder to shoulder with you Genesis.

We'll all need to' lay' down if we have to 'shell' out.
