Re: "I wish I had brought..."
My Lakeland coffee container which was chucked out to get rid of the excess baggage at the airport. And my OH's wellies which he couldn't be bothered cleaninng - he's sorry now!
My OH was working and I had shingles when the packers came so I wish I'd cleaned our garden tools, etc but I just didn't have the energy. We brought pretty much everything else including our garden furniture.

Underwear, cushion covers and coathangers.
I know, as mad and bad as it may seem. If you can't live without M&S undies, best stock up on a lifetimes supply.
Coathangers here really are crap and you hardly ever get given the hangers from the shops when you buy something.
I don't know anywhere here where you can just buy cushion covers without having to buy the whole thing with inners in.

My list would be like the Generation Game;
Shoes
Boots
Side by side fridge-freezer
Coffee machine
Breadmaker
Front loading washing-machine
Dyson vacuum cleaner
Decent bakeware / saucepans (Prestige, Circulon and the likes)
Anything and everything you like from Ikea
Plus half of a Lakeland

But didn't see any Siemens...do they sell them there? I have a really old one and boy are they workhorses, I've abused mine for over a decade and it's still going strong . I'm thinking of getting a new one to take there (if we ever get there ), what do you think? Any advice much appreciated. I'm concerned about spare parts etc should it need repairing.
