Help/Reassurance please
Hi
My husband and I are about to submit our EOI, but some doubts are creeping in over finding jobs.
He is a primary school teacher and I am a poditrist. We have considered going over on holiday and seeing about jobs once there but with our 2 kids we are not sure we want to take that chance plus our funds won't realy allow for a holiday then an expensive move.
Keep reading conflicting info re the job situation. Any advice would be great!
Thanks all

I think it'd be a marvelous idea 2 heads always better than one and the childcare and school run would work rather well too don't you think ?

I suggest you start a thread headed Primary School Teaching Positions. That way teachers already out here in NZ will see it and think to respond.
I had this notion that teachers have reported being offered contract work to start with before full time contracts.
anyway. Start a new topic & let's see what teachers have to say.

Hi
I dont know about your job. But primary teachers r in high demand. your husband can apply and you follow him.
You can check in google search and see that how many job vacancies there are in primary schools of NZ!
Good luck

Think all state school teacher jobs have to advertised - usually here
http://www.edgazette.govt.nz/
http://www.mypodiatryfuture.com/ - don't know if this is any use but you can also try the hospital boards direct
