Is there anyone who could help us, Have landed in a pickle.

Granny has just recently bought my 3yo a present for his Birthday (end of Jan). It is a Lighning Mcqueen scalextric set (50GBP). - http://www.scalextric.com/shop/micro...neypixar-cars/

Now, the problem - we have just checked postage to get the thing to us from the UK is abot 70GBP (granny thought it would be about 30).

Cheeky question time - Is anyone comming out to NZ before the end of Jan with space in their luggage or container (am willing to cover costs)? the package is 2.8kg 60cmx50cmx10cm.

any help would be fantastic

This would ensure an extrememly happy 4yo boy on his birthday (no to mention his dad!!!).

Why not buy one on trademe. Your mum returns said toy and gets a credit for the item for the next gift she buys, in the meantime you get one on trademe (probably cheaper and easier) and your mum puts the equivalent of NZ trademes purchase in your UK bank account.

Cheers, fantastic idea, but I believe I have exhausted this route. Scalextric do not have any stock, and the Sole NZ agent have not had it here yet and do not know if/when it will be released to NZ. Only country this set is available is the UK (yes have tried TradeMe & Ebay and Google).

So, unfortunately back to the original Question, any one able to help bringing this box out to NZ.
