Hi all,
I'm Vince, Irish, living in Ireland and just back home from a month's vacation in NZ with my family.
It was our second visit, 2007 being our first....
Anyhoo, managed to secure a job offer while there, so just about to start the whole process proper.
Luckily my employer has retained a licensed agency to deal with this as he has quite a few expats already employed there and the company is going to take care of as much of it as they can.
I must admit I've found that there has been a huge increase in prices there since 2007 which I find a bit scary.
Anyway, thats the intro.....keep an eye out for me....I'll be asking lots of silly questions that I'm sure will have been asked a thousand times before...but hey thats the nature of these forums ;-)
Vinnie

Hi Vinnie,
Well done on the job offer mate!
The forum was brilliant for me when we were at the same stage as you. It's v scary moving to a new country and not knowing anything about how the system works there, buy everyone on here's been there and done it and are happy to share their knowledge. Pick up as much advice as you can from these guys and it'll be a breeze!
(The hardest bit about moving here is being a bit of a 'Billy-no-mates' after you arrive!
)

Hi Vince!
We've been in NZ for a week now, so very much newbies! Follow your dream - it gets tough at times but is defintely worth it!
