If you have central heating in your homes, what supplies this. e.g combi boilers, back boiler. Is the systems the same as here, like gas meters and electric meters.

Not many homes in NZ have central heating. We have piped gas - 2 gas fires, and use electric oil filled radiators in the bedrooms. When the sun shines the houses get really hot. I have been told that gas central heating isn't popular, because most people can't afford to run it. Power is very expensive here.

I had a company in my favs list but don't know what happened to it, it's a company in Ch.ch that supply any sort of central heating you can think of .... gas, pumped air, wood, oil etc
I asked how much it would be for a wood fueled boiler fitted in the garage to feed radiators around a three bed house and they quoted 9k.
