Might sound daft but how do all the pc's, laptops etc get from china to Europe in containers across the equator without melting?

sealed at manufacturers with the added bonus of silca gel packs, which sucks up the moisture and which we don't have any of

You can buy moisture absorbers by the bucket load in b&q for a few pounds, don't computers come in polystyrene and cardboard boxes as we buy them from comet?

unfortunately husand only came back on Sunday and only told me just before I posted, reason for post, that a few people he had spoken to out there had had problems. I wanted to prove him wrong but as some have had problems on here also he not wanting to chance his lively hood. now with us being away at Christmas and only returning for the packer we don't have time so he has now removed them and they are now going by air
