Great Book on "Where to live in Auckland"
Hi
My Dad has just returned from a visit to NZ. While visiting a cousin she suggested this book "Where to live in Auckland", as we are moving there in the new year it was ideal. Its published annually and so is right up to date and seems to give a very honest opinion on every suburb in Auckland. It covers the area's them selves, history and background of the area, who lives there (population profiles), typical housing, schools, leisure, shops, amenities, best roads/street to live in that area. Even gives indications of what percentage of population profiles lives in which parts of the suburbs/ towns and the cost of housing and rental properties.
Its really helped us to make a short list of places to look at.
Sorry if this is old news, but I could not remember seeing it mentioned before.
Cost of book:- $39.00
Publisher :-Barbican Publishing Limited
web:- www.wheretoliveinauckland.co.nz
Hope it helps
Merry Christmas to all, it will be our last here at least for a while.
Scary but exciting.
