Re: False information on PR application
Each person acts to his/her own conscience and there are two sides to every story (and we only know half of this particular story!) and to be honest I am a huge believer in Karma....so if Karma comes and bites a big chunk of their arse then so be it....and if not lucky them!! :p

Sad but true that a lot of people like this colleague find themselves caught between a rock and a hard place. If they want to stay they have no choice but to go along with it. |

If this is to Jen D , then that person is simply expressing an opinion . Or maybe is the person being discussed. Who knows. If this is to Castlesorrento, then they have already stated on the open forum that this is their 2nd username & that they are incognito. However, I would consider it a courtesy, Castlesorrento, if you would PM me about this. Thank You. |

Without any evidence it's all 'hearsay', so there's very little anyone could do without jeopordising they're own employment arrangements. |

Yes, apparently anyone is allowed to do anything in pursuit of what they want. Didn't you get the memo? :sneaky:

But, as someone famous once said, it is easier to take a million people for $1 than a single person for $1m. So a little hurt of a lot of people goes unnoticed and when it is noticed it gets this sort of reaction, particularly from those taking part (basic self-justification).... The situation described by the OP requires several different falsifications to take place, many of them at the employer level, I'd guess the employer has a good (to them) reason for doing this. |
Re: False information on PR application
If this employer is finding it as difficult as we do to find a good, "skilled" administrator I'm not surprised that he's helping her.

[Side track]The wilful exclusion of individuals from movement is an unnatural state, we do it because we perceive it to be of some value to society (too many expats spoil the country, only murderers and rapists will want to come here etc.) but I question that assertion. Indeed in many ways it may be paranoia more than rational judgment that allows the segregation of human populations to flourish.[/sidetrack] |
