Election day making me feel warm and fuzzy..

Election day making me feel warm and fuzzy..
Really bizarre feeling.. I'm sitting here watching the day/evening unfold and feeling really quite 'emotional' .. not in the crying sort of way.. more just in a 'wow, this is so historic, great to be here' kind of way...
It wasn't something that i had expected to feel.. its not my country..but I find myself genuinely interested in what is going to happen... I'm touched by what the voters are saying and the reasons why this is the first time they have ever voted.. Watching the crowds in Time Square and in Chicago is really quite something..
Now, you have to understand.. I actually have NO clue whatsoever what is going on.. they can show every type of graph, prediction slideshow etc.. Its all lost on me!!!
I think.. wait.. no, I think I may actually be beginning to feel a connection with this country.. (or it could just be indigestion)

I just have to get through one more night of working with them In a way I've found it quite interesting hearing what every day American's think and was rather gob smacked to learn that not all black people are voting for Obama.

I feel proud that the country seems to have thrown off the ennui that it has been accused of (on here as well) and realized that now is the time to be heard.
I guess I should thank the current POTUS for this response to a call for action..

that's interesting. there is one black family in our subdivision and he told my OH last week that he's a McCain man.
