I usually put my hazard lights on when entering a round about, just to be extra safe.

hahahahaha Papamoa on a Friday night during holiday season is fun drive home from work. I usually just close my eyes and pray to the god of new, clean underpants to keep me safe! Huge sigh of relief once I've made it past the drive in liquor place opposite the turn for KFC and McDs.

Especially when you see the driver is in school uniform, with the obligatory three or four of his mates hanging out of the windows. OMG, it puts the fear of god in me. *Shudders*

Especially when they are not very tall and can hardly see over the steering wheel but I think some of them lower their seats to be 'cool'. I can't get used to seeing kids in school uniform driving

try have 8 of them with their shorts on riding on scooters going past you on either side whilst you (and they) are turning right onto a major road - almost took one of em out as I straightened up. Crazy. Almost as dangerous as the over 80s driving aroung Orewa.

That's not true is it Alanmacc.

You made an incorrect statement about indicating at roundabouts and a couple of posters gave you a Fail. No name calling. No telling you to bog off, get a life and all that sorta stuff we can get on here. You should be giggling about it.

What is it they say the Kiwi's say, although I've never heard it. "Put on an extra layer" ! Oopsie. Wrong one. "Toughen Up !"

Meanwhile I'll "Keep Calm and Carry On "

I used to drive my Dads Range Rover to school in school uniform in 1980 in the NE of England just after passing my test. No one batted an eyelid.
