Not that I know of.
As an visa applicant, you do have an obligation to inform Immigration NZ of any circumstances that could affect your visa. If, for example you have debt in your home country, INZ will want to know how you intend to continue repaying that debt. They are super keen not to allow any person to use migration as an escape from responsibilities.

as escape says not a process in the visa application but you may have an obligation in the UK to inform anyone you have credit with that you may be leaving the country, you would need to read the T&C's for all companies you may have debt with.
