Best Travel Insurance for Kiwis bound for USA
What would be the best Travel Insurance for a NZ resident bound for USA?
Best, according to me, ease in settling a claim while in America. Also, cashless medical treatment, if the need so arises.
Air NZ refers QBE (aussie insurance firm). I am currently with Southern Cross - well known in NZ, but can they useful to someone in US?
Other options are AA, Tower, 1Cover, Nomads,State, etc.
Kindly share your experience with insurance firms mentioned above while making a claim.

Anyone ever had a claim with SOUTHERN CROSS?
How is Southern Cross as an insurer?
I use them for health, but travel insurance is different. Do you they have a good network in the US of A?
good presence in NZ, but will they be good in America?
