Default Best Schools in North Shore, Auckland

Hi Everyone,

Myself and my family are moving over to Auckland in 2 weeks and is starting to get a little worried. Our son is 5 so we would need to look into schools for him.

Could anyone advise us of nice schools on the North Shore that we could look at or an area where there is plenty for us to look at?

Any information would be much appriciated.

Thanks

Claire

Most schools on the North Shore are very good. They all have their own pulls though and most have 'zones'. This means that you have to live in a specific area to enrol your child into it.

I would highly recommend that when you arrive (which will be the start of the new term anyway) you drop into the schools and ask to be shown around. Most schools will accommodate you and this will give you a feel for the classes that your child will potentially go into.

Good luck with the impending move
