BBC Iplayer to launch worldwide
For those of you who have (like us) been missing good old BBC TV content whilst in New Zealand, and those who have been fiddling with proxies and the like trying to get Iplayer to function whilst outside of the UK.... you may be interested to know:

Great news
Now I just need channel 4 and ITV to follow suit and I'll never have to complain about a lack of tv to watch again!

I"ll be glad to finally stop paying for my proxy (cheap $5/month as it is) but, be warned they've been advertising this since I arrived last August so dont expect it to happen any time soon.
