The arsehole of the world? Southland?
Anyone living in Invercargill? After living briefly in London I crave peace & solitude and a slower pace of life. I've been there occaisonally on tramps.

Mick Jagger referred it to be "The arsehole of the World" in 1965
When you search for it on the internet, it appears quite a few people agree with him as well

Well there's a job in The Press today for a housekeeper on a farm. The copy reads:
'House keeping position available: Invercargil area, would suit person who likes country life, animals and cold weather'.
And that pretty much sums it up really!
Plus it's not far to the solitudinous Stewart Island.
