Anybody Heard of Gilbert Syndrome?
Had medicals last week, got a phone call from Dr Armstrong yesterday (sunday) saying that my husband has Gilbert Syndrome. Apparently a problem with the liver functioning. What we need to know is if anybody with this has got through their ITA as we are going to send all our paperwork off tomorrow. It is not tablet dependant, just a healthy diet and no beer!!!!

As it's considered a harmless (according to the site I gave you) condition, I cannot imagine it would result in your being refused permission to move to NZ or anywhere else.

Do a search as I am sure it was either this site or the UK 2 NZ one that had someone with this syndrome and they got PR.

Just a guess as we have had to do this on 2 medical issues..
The visa officers like letters from Consultants and will probably ask you to get a letter from a consultant that says your hubby is well and this condition does not need medical attention.
