Default Another question about shipping pets ;-)

Hi all..

We have had quotes from different pet mover's and are particularly taken with Golden Arrow, Airpets and Pets on the Move. All prices seem to be similar, but we were wondering if anyone wanted to share their experiences of shipping with any of them?
We're sending a big dog and fat cat, and obviously want to do best by them!

Cheers!

We too have had quotes from Golden Arrow & Airpets and would be interested to hear peoples experiences of using either. We have a four year old boxer and have been told there are risks involved with taking her because of her being a snub nose breed. Can't bear the thought of not taking her though, it would be like leaving one of the kids behind!

If anyone else has taken a boxer over would love to hear about it.

Hi we arrived in auckland about 7 weeks ago, we have a fat chocolate labrador, we used golden arrow they send all paperwork and test tubes to you guide you through everything with your own vet. We picked her up from airport 2 hours after she arrived, a bit shaken but very happy to see us took her 3 days to settle in to routine over here she had jet lag and she would get up at 3 in morning time for her afternoon walk soon wears off. Wouldnt be without her.

Airpets exported our cats for us. Brilliant they were too. Walked us though the whole process. Didn't mind spending time talking it all through and listened to our worries.

Our cats breezed the whole thing and were really well looked after. You would have thought they had been having a cat snooze , that's how fazed they were by the whole thing

They were already micro chipped and we just needed to make sure flea control and vaccinations were up to date. The worst part was trying to collect poo samples. I never knew two cats that could choose to have such tight bums .
